3 Ways You can Green Up Your Spring

1. Green your garage by clearing out clutter. Garages and sheds are magnets for clutter
bikes, old clothes, beach gear, buckets, tools… Put those unwanted items back into the cycle by up cycling them or donating them to a thrift store.

2. Green your patio or deck! With the warmer weather upon us (at least for a short while), the great outdoors seem more appealing than the warmth of your fireplace and couch. Consider greener BBQ options than grills that rely on wood or charcoal, as they contribute to greenhouse gases, and instead take a look at an Energy Star-certified gas grill. Reduce your carbon footprint + make your patio pretty by putting together some DIY planter boxes made from repurposed pallets.

3. Clean your indoor air naturally with houseplants! Try Spider Plants, English Ivy, Rubber plants, Aloe Vera and Peace Lillies. Indoor plants help to purify the air by removing pollutants through absorption of harmful gases through their leaves and roots.
