What is Single Stream Recycling? And why is it important to me?
Do you recycle? Do you know what single stream recycling is? You may not think it’s important, or maybe you don’t have the time to learn about it. But here’s the thing: single stream recycling is actually saving YOU time, and that’s what we are all about at Nauset Disposal: saving you time and effort, so you can spend your day doing more important things.
So, where does single stream recycling come in to play? Single stream recycling is a form of responsible resource conservation. It makes it almost as easy to use the recycling bin as it is to use the trash can, so there’s no reason not to recycle! All of your recyclables can be collected in just one bin… No more sorting numbered plastic, aluminum, cardboard and paper. This should make things more convenient for consumers, making it easier for more people to participate in recycling and saving additional resources. When we pick up your bin of co-mingled recyclables, they go to the recycling center where they are automatically sorted for reuse. Simple as that!

“Even though Nauset is a big company it is the little things that make a difference in service. On Tuesday I over slept and didn’t get my recycling out to its spot, but the driver, a sweet young man, saw it and went and got it. It’s the little extra steps like that, that are the reason I love Nauset.”Ann P.
