Spring Green Tips for Your Yard

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

Here are some tips to keep your yard healthy and looking great!

1. Leave grass clippings on the lawn after you mow to provide your lawn with a natural (and free) source of nutrients, or compost the clippings for use in your garden.

2. Create healthy soil. Earthworms and other soil organisms keep the soil healthy. By moving through the soil, they allow water and air to penetrate, and they recycle thatch back into nutrients that the grass can use.

3. Collect and use rainwater for watering your garden with a rain barrel or direct downspouts or gutters toward shrubs or trees.

“To the great folks at Nauset, Just a quick note to thank you so much for taking care of our needs and “ saving my butt” this summer. I forgot about starting the service and on Tuesday I called you and you were able to pick up SAME DAY, and if that is not enough after the renters left for the season, they put the garbage out too late, but you came by on Monday and took care of it.”

Kara Millis Very grateful- You guys are the best!!
