Nauset Disposal Announces New Community Outreach Program
Orleans, MA – On August 10, Kara Boulé of Nauset Disposal presented a recycling program to preschool-aged classes at The Children’s Workshop in South Dennis to help educate the children on recycling. The group played sorting games, talked about the importance of reusing or recycling materials, and read a book titled “Don’t Throw That Away”, written by Laura Bergen.
A company dedicated to the local community, this type of project aligns well with Nauset Disposal’s community outreach program. This past spring, Nauset Disposal employees voted on four key areas to concentrate the company’s community investment efforts in 2017; the outcome was a focus on Children’s Services, the Environment, Veteran’s Services, and Basic Needs. Nauset Disposal has pledged to support programming, non-profits, and events that support these causes through community projects, volunteerism, and charitable giving.
